Shaw is a biomedical engineering researcher with a background in pharmaceutical sciences. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Zhengzhou University and completed his master’s degree in pharmaceutical science at Central South University, where he focused on engineering microfluidic platforms for biomedical applications

Shaw is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology of China, conducting research at the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

His current research is centered around the use of synthetic biology tools to bioengineer living therapies for cancer, combining principles from biomedical engineering, nanomedicine, and translational science to develop advanced therapeutic systems.

The goal is to contribute to the development of transformative biomedical technologies that improve treatment strategies for better patient outcomes globally.
